It has been said that the 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano will soon become the best street legal car ever designed and sold to the public. With its 612 horsepower engine, the Fiorano is a good match for many disguised racecars riding the street legal line. The main reason for this match is its 6.1 pound-to-horsepower ratio. With a competent driver familiar with the six speed transmission, the Fiorano can get from zero to 62 mph in less than four seconds. The aerodynamic body creates more than 400 pounds of downforce, keeping the car firmly on the road at 190 mph. The top speed of the car is estimated at over 200 mph.

The Fiorano is available with the option of adding a carbon-ceramic brake discs that appear as if they were inspired by the Le Mans racecar. Much of the technology in this car has been linked back to the racecar industry. Despite this Fiorano feels much like a luxury car. It is capable of being a high performance street racer, but it can reign in its power to be a comfortable ride for a relaxed tour. The semi-active suspension makes for a good, safe ride across near any road surface. The two seat sedan can carry about eleven cubic feet of luggage or other cargo. Over all it is a great luxury car with far more power than any street driver would ever need, but would certainly want.

The German firm Novitec has created a tuning and styling package for this beast of a car. It was revealed in the 2007 Frankfurt Motor show. The front spoiler has been slightly modified, the side skirts have been improved and the newly designed rear end all add to the downforce the car already generates. The new exhaust system amplifies the power by 25 horsepower, moving the already high top speed up by 3 mph. Part of this extra top speed is due to the slight engine electronic modifications Novitec put into the car.

Novitec endeavored to enhance the handling of the car in order to allow it to take turns with more ease. They added the KW aluminum suspension for exactly this reason. This new suspension allows for the driver to adjust the ride height. Another edition is the Brembo brakes on all four wheels. Such high level brakes are solid enough for use on a racetrack. These new brakes also help to keep the monster that is the Fiorano in check. And of course, Novitec added their typical black taillights. For someone looking for a monster of a luxury sports car with a unique flair, the 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano by Novitec is an extremely attractive prospect. Not only does it have a huge horsepower, but it rides in ease and comfort.
