The engineers from EDO Competition have created a tuning package for the Ferrari Enzo, which increases the power of the Italian model. The supercar from Ferrari has received a 6.3L V12 engine, which has been modified to develop 840 bhp and 780 Nm of torque. This way, the Italian model has an extra 180 bhp than the standard Enzo, but the weight has been reduced by 100 kg. After the EDO team has tweaked up the car, the Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 100km/h) in 3.2 seconds and can reach a max speed of 242 mph (390km/h).
The acceleration from 0 to 125 mph (0 to 200km/h) is done in just 9 seconds, while the acceleration from 0 to 185 mph (0 to 300 km/h) is done in 19 seconds. Of course, the EDO Competition engineers have made some radical changes to the car to get these results, the engine of the Enzo being almost completely replaced. Everything but the engine block was replaced with performance parts. the cubic capacity was increased from 6 L to 6.3 L. The maximum torque is developed at 5,800 rpm, and the EDO engineers said that the engine could develop 860 bhp if the final exhaust were removed.
The Enzo's transmission was also modified, with the current configuration the gear changes are done in only 60 miliseconds, compared to a F1 car wich changes gear in 40 miliseconds, that's not bad at all. The gear change speed is absolutely amazing even if we compare it to the standard Enzo, which is capable to change gear in 110 miliseconds. Along side the new engine and the new transmission, the EDO tuners have modified a FIA GT suspension for the ENZO XX Evolution, to offer amazing performances. They have also equipped the model with a hydraulic system that allows the Enzo XX Evolution to go over speed bumps.
