King of Europe 2009, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

For the first time in history, the "King Of Europe" Drifting Championship was hosted by Romania. 32 contestants from France, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Austria, Serbia, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Russia and Moldova have participated to this amazing event.

This was Round 5 of the competition after the previous round which was held in Mariapocs, Hungary between the 21st and 22nd of august.

Round 5 was hosted in the parking lot of the "Polus Center" Mall in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The events started of on the 19th of September at 10 AM local time with training and pre-qualifying stages for the drifting competition followed by car tuning exhibits. Today, 20th of September, there were qualifying stages and final stages for the drifting competition. After the qualifying stages there were 16 drivers left that fought for 1st place.

When the competition finally ended the podium was as follows: 1st place was awarded to Adam Kerenyi (Hungary) - BMW E36 3.8L, 2nd place Norbert Kovacik (Slovakia) - BMW E46 M3 and 3rd place Todor Dunev (Bulgaria) - Nissan S13.

All in all, the competition brought thousands of car loving people that cheered and applaused the incredible skills of the drivers.

There are 2 things that I liked most:1. James is very paasnoiste about what he does and it feels great to see people that really love testing and that are good at it. It's really really motivating!!2. The pattern exercise. I think about it now each time I attempt to identify the reproduction steps for a bug.Probably I'll add more in the things that I liked most list during the following days
